Cannot log in to SW Server


  1. Check the SortWizard server status.  The SW Server Status can be found in the upper left corner of the SortWizard's home page.  There will be a color indicator that indicates the status as shown below.  When you click on the SW Server Status link itself you will see an explanation if one is applicable.  Click here to see current status.
  2. If you are unable to log in, click "Ok" to the  Exception #1 error message.  The "SortWizard Server Setup" window should now be displayed.  Check the SortWizard Server Web Page address.  The address MUST be: "63.136.86.160/get_a_server.asp".  If it is not that address, you will need to edit it accordingly in the SortWizard Server Web Page field.  Click "Ok" and you should now be logging in to a SortWizard server.  

    If you ARE able to log in
    , go to Search Parameters Setup, then the Global Settings tab, then the SortWizard Server Setup button.  The SortWizard Server Web Page must be changed to: 63.136.86.160/get_a_server.asp if it is not already set to that.  Click here to test your connection.  This test should result in a response of either: "12.24.252.28:18" or "swserver.tzo.com:18". 
  3. We have also switched from using port 20 to port 18.  If you get a login or expiration error and are using a firewall, you will need to open up port 18.
