5 Day Momentum Method

Identify potential day trading setups from the patterns discussed in the Hit and Run I trading book. Included in the set of search files are both Intraday and End of the Day versions for use during the regular session or after market closing data has been updated.

Run your searches at the End of the Day to create lists to study at night. Then in the morning, run the Intraday set and wait for the qualifiers to pop up on your screen which will indicate how close a stock is to reaching its suggested entry price level.

There are no symbol lists (portfolios) to create or list size limitations to be concerned with; just run the searches and the SortWizard will screen the entire market. The searches have been set up to provide you with entry points and protective stop limits and a color coded status from those levels defined in the book for each symbol displayed.

If you would like, you can also modify any of the searches to suit your own requirements. Add from a comprehensive list of fields available from the RealTick server or the SortWizard's own database to modify the formulas in each search. Don't worry about experimenting, the search files are setup as templates so you won't lose the original settings. Just save your new setup with a new name.
